Satisfaction….

I just delivered my design collection for the Fashion Show, that has been delayed and modified because of Covid-19.

I am questioning myself and also other people who decide I am not an artist.  ( How dare they can tell me why I am not ?!)

” What is wrong if I satisfying my design? ”
I am always love my designs when I completed.

I am a creator, and I design and create things what I satisfy my sketch image to actual  product.

There is no rule, because rule I make for my creations.

So I can stop when I want and I can go over when I need. There is no right answer, until I get my creation complete in my mind…

But, I love collaborations, that make the other creator feed into my designs their perspective.

I love that. Sometime that is different from mine, but that is OK, because that also other creator initiate their creative view.

I don’t want to interrupt for their opinions, but  what I don’t like is they don’t have any opinions their creations…

Then I may stop collaborating with those people…

 

But when I serve the client, that is different approach.

Because, my job is make the client satisfied. So I talk and make sure

if the client is happy about what I have done.

That is completely different satisfactions.

Always client is initiate their preference.

That is Tocofashion’s approach.

Man in Space Suits!

Last night, after smooth launch and boosters landed on target, Space X Dragon capsule name Endeavour docked with ISS on time!!!

View from ISS Hatch door open to preparing Ben and Douglas to come in….for 3 and half hours…

Finally Endeavour door is open and both can see!!

Ben and Douglas are going to stay for 4 months with other crew of ISS….

This was totally started private commercial mission to international mission.

Elon Musk’s Space X started 2002, when Virgin Galactic’s blue origin went to Space was phenomenon.
Every challenge is the risk, but Space X challenge is always bring the dream comes true!!

This time Elon was saying really wanted Astronaut to be admired from the next generation.

He asked Space suits to be made from the Hollywood Super hero’s costume designer.

Fantastic looking helmets and much lighter suits for the Astronauts to relax on the space travel…. 🙂

Beautiful and sweet….

We love cherry blossom so much!  I can’t wait to see the pink season again!
I don’t know it is the DNA, as a Japanese we get really crazy for cherry blossoms.
When it is the season, we have to have a picnic outside to admire the cherry no matter cold or night…

When people are out about, always shops are out about, too.

We buy street food, and some interesting thing you don’t normally see from the high street, like candy frost shop,

gold fish catching ( with very thin rice paper spoon), candy apple/toffee apple.

one of the very traditional thing is candy craft ( Ame-zaiku ). It was rarely see them when I was little…

But look!! They are the beyond candy….

So beautiful so realistic and lively, I can’t imagine eating as candy….. ( Such art works rather than sweets by Ameshin in Asakusa,Tokyo (http://www.ame-shin.com/)

Hajime Sorayama…I used to see his work from magazine called ” Bijyutsu Techou”.

As a sensitive teenager, I really didn’t like his airbrush work, I didn’t understand shiny metalic airbrush of his work is in the Bijyutsu Techou all the time…

Hajime is saying in the interview, he found beauty from Katana and Metal, shiny and pointy, are sexy and cool.
He was the designer of Aibo. I like 1st Aibo’s design that everybody know what “Aibo” is.

I like H.R.Giger, his air brush works are organic and mat, it isn’t shiny like Hajime Sorayama’s airbrush style.

But I am not getting into Ailen films. He designed Ailens ( I like the ailens caractors )….

I like his art work on the book, his art take me so much depth into fantasy world, that I love.

Hajime Sorayama and Giger to me, are very nostalgic and futuristic artists…
Both had breakingpoint of wider audience, because they cross the boundary from their own world.
I can some day 🙂

Tin Coffee…

I don’t think Tin drinks are as popular as other world than Japan…

Just I saw the articl about “1st October is World Coffee Day”, I thought write about this…

Every street we see drinks, tabacco, vending machine hot and cold even very rural area of Japan…
So it is life saver when you are walking outside in cold Winter.

When I was playing tennis without caring about skin condition 🙂 ,

I used to freeze 500ml carton of coffe milk and take with long handle spoon.

It was just great half melted and slushed sweet milk coffee at lunch time in hot Summer day.

We had vending machine everywhere, just saving temptation every time we walk pass.

After swimming, hot dog or cup noodle’s vending machine that we couldn’t tackle against those treat!!

Then there was a fire of KyoAni not long time ago…It is the speach from CEO of Kyoto Animation Studio after 3 months from the incident.

Process of design…

I got some suvenior from Japan when I went to Aberdeen. Thank you very much for beautiful stuff…

Thinking about the design process….
Design = a plan or drawing produced to show the look and function or workings of a building, garment, or other object before it is made.

Design is the skill of making plans or drawings for something:

Design is also the way in which something is arranged or shaped:

to intend for a particular purpose:

Just seeing picture above, is only the example.  But seeing all similar idea process.

Using everything put together and arrange to team up, result is beautiful harmony….

I would love to do those jobs as my life time achievement….
