Auld Lang Syne…

I was born and brought up in Japan.

Where I was in the school always we sang ” Auld Lang Syne” at the graduation day.

Our education is Primary for 6years. So we have 6 year of Graduation days.

So we practice 6 years.

Junior high is another 3 years, and high school 3 years…

Then get higher like Uni.

Anyway, we sing Auld Lang Syne is almost as our semi national song.

That is all Japanese people’s reflex if you hear the tune, we can sing in Japanese….

First started from Japanese Navy School sang at the graduation.

But these days, we often hear the tune, when the shop is about to close, it is pressurising customers to hurry up and go!! 🙂

That tune isn’t as ” Auld Lang Syne”, it is from the film ” Waterloo Bridge ” farewell waltz danced by Vivian Lee and Robert Taylor….

Anyway, we love the song and most of us even didn’t realize it was from Scotland and Robert Burn’s famous poem.

How can he see his poem is widely loved in the world, I wonder ?

Thinking about the design process….
Design = a plan or drawing produced to show the look and function or workings of a building, garment, or other object before it is made.

Design is the skill of making plans or drawings for something:

Design is also the way in which something is arranged or shaped:

to intend for a particular purpose:

Just seeing picture above, is only the example.  But seeing all similar idea process.

Using everything put together and arrange to team up, result is beautiful harmony….

I would love to do those jobs as my life time achievement….
