花火の事。　Remember, remember 5th of November !

日本では、花火は普通夏がシーズンだと思うけど、こちらでは、秋から冬がシーズンですね。
昨日は、イギリスのガイホークスナイト。昔16世紀ごろ国王暗殺のためにウェストミンスターを爆発するのを
任命されたガイホークスにちなんでのお祭りだが、イギリスでは、各地で色々なとらわれ方をしているようだが、
スコットランドでは、自由のために戦うヒーローとして、扱われているというが、さまざまだ。
映画のV-Vendetta(ヴィフォーヴィンデッタ）でのとらわれ方が一番スコットランドでのイメージなのかなと思う。
昨日は、息子のいとこに花火するの？と聞かれたのがきっかけで、急遽花火をしようという事で、夕食後、
スーパーで花火を（ほぼ売り切れなので、残り物だが）購入して、裏道を通って、ビューポイントに
着いたが、駐車場に駐車できないほどの車。しかも反対車線は、ずらーっと行列が続いている状態。
が、主人がどうしてもということで、また違う裏道を通り、ぐるっと回って、違う駐車場に停めて真っ暗な
ファームのぐちゃぐちゃ道を懐中電灯で照らしながら、広場に着くが、すごい人とすごい花火。
そこで、色んなところで大量の打ち上げ花火が上がっている。私たちも、簡単な打ち上げ花火、
そして100連発ミサイル、パンプキンファウンテンなど、適当に購入したものでどんなものだか分からないが、
わざわざ目的地まで着いたものだから、とりあえず打ち上げて帰るベーという気分で、フィールドの真ん中で
主人がセットするたびにラン！という掛け声のたびに離れるが、あっちでもこっちでも打ちあがっている花火だけじゃなく、
こっちに向かってくる花火もあり、上、横、前などすべての方角に気を使っていて花火を楽しむ所じゃない、、、。
まじで、史上最大のエキサイティングな花火体験でありました。今度は、私抜きで楽しんでもらおう！

In Japan, Fireworks are mostly done in Summer. We go to Big display in crowded venue somewhere bank of River.
And Buy from the shop ( even in convenience store ) to enjoy in your garden or playground with adult.
Very peaceful and fun pastime for the family and friends.
Here in UK. Autumn and Winter are the season for the fireworks.
Mostly for the celebration for something. Like last night was the Guy Fawks Night.
If I remember, where we were in north London was started 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after of 5th of November was like Gulf War( I don’t know the real sounds though,,)…
We went to big display in Paisley. It was wonderful. Beautiful and Big. Attempted to take good pictures, never came good as real one.
About Guy Fawks, depending on the area how he treated for the his celebration. Here in Scotland is more He was the hero for the freedom. Perhaps film V for Vendetta is the how he is around here as long as I know.
Yesterday, just we passed with my son’s cousin he asked my son if he would do the fireworks.
So we decided after the lovely( mum in law’s dish )dinner, we went to the supermarket to left over of fireworks. And with touch,
went off to view point to do the fireworks. Of course everybody in town thought exact same things. There is no parking space and huge tail back on other side of road. My husband drove back around the back road to get different parking. Then we walked thought muddy dark field with lot of cow patch and paddle. Finally reached the destination, just set off the assorted fireworks and finish off the business and go was our attitude. Because there are mad cloud with full of fireworks all the direction up way, down way ,side way:((( even towards to us…
I have never done such a exciting fireworks before. After away from the fireworks in middle of the dark field. It was clear sky, full of stars and beautiful fireworks and stardust light from the city and airport. Fantastic if I don’t need to aware for the fireworks coming to attack you.. Next time will be without me!!
